New gaming PC or PS5?

Since the new PS5 will be released soon, I thought about getting it. Not because I'm a console fan (my last console was the PS3), but rather because of the Playstation exclusive titles such as The Demon Souls Remake (I'm a big fan of Soulslike games). I would also like to play The Last of Us 2 or the upcoming Horizon, which are also Playstation exclusive titles. Games like Call of Duty are also more suitable on the console in my opinion, since many more people play on them, e.g. My friends too.

On the other hand, I thought about getting a new gaming PC (budget approx. 1000 euro), which would ultimately be much more powerful than the PS5. However, I already have a gaming PC and can actually play all my games (Rocket League, LoL, Valorant, CSGO, Rainbow Six Siege, …) with my old GTX 1050ti. Unfortunately, the cooling performance of my gaming PC is extremely poor and it gets warm very quickly (CPU: 80-90 degrees Celsius in R6 e.g.). Would an upgrade be worthwhile if I sell my old PC and thus get a new one, especially (absolutely) with a water cooling system?

I recommend a PC, you just have a lot of options.

And if you want to play with a controller, you can do that on the PC too.

Do you want more than just playing with a mouse and keyboard? - PC

Do you want to play ONLY and are satisfied with a controller in most games? - PS5

(You may be able to use M&T, but may be abolished with online games so that it is not unfair. Just a theory)

If your pc is enough for you, then simply buy better cooling for the cpu! Installation is not difficult, otherwise watch some videos

Gaming PC, I would say. And the GTX 1050 Ti is pretty out of the box, because you can get a much better setup for EUR 1000.
