How do I install the software update via a USB stick after the PS4 is in Safe Mode? PS4 hung up again yesterday and only went out by pulling the plug and now this problem. Rebuild Database does not work, an error occurs. I already had the update on a stick under these folders PS4 → UPDATE → Then here is the latest update. Did I do something wrong?
Simply reset in Safe Mode. I just bought my PS4 a few weeks ago. It was so flattened that the drive didn't even work. But after the firmware update everything went smoothly.
The problem is I need to reset the data on it is no solution, since I would rather not use it until the data is professionally pulled down from the hard drive

But you will have problems there. Everything is encrypted there. But if you can "rewrite" savegames from other users, that should be feasible. Maybe your update still works. But what I doubt.
