I have a LG CX and somehow I can't receive 120 Hz because someone has an idea why?
Maybe because you're in 4K mode right now?
The PS5 can do 120hz at 4k
Does your TV also support 4k 120Hz? Or just 1080p 120Hz?
That would be good to know, because if it only supports 1080p 120Hz, 4k with 120Hz is of course not possible. You also need an HDMI 2.1 cable for this. See if you have that too.
Did you also connect HDMI 2.1?
Yes I have
Did you also use an HDMI 2.1 cable?
100% sure? Looks more like HDMI 2.0 to me.
Which TV do you have?
The menu / interface of the PS5 is always output in 4K60hz. You only get in-game at 4K120hz, provided that the respective game supports such a mode at all.
You need an hdmi 2.1 cable, and the LG must also have an hdmi 2.1 connection, which I think it has.
But that is the information from the video output
Yes, I use an HDMI 2.1 cable for 30 euro
Yes I have a 2.1 cable and the TV has a 2.1 connection
Doesn't matter what resolution he uses. Can 120 hearts at each resolution.
How do you know his TV can do that?
It is exactly like that. You need a game with 120 Hz support and then you look at the information directly on the TV.
The one on the television? It only shows what is currently being output, not what is maximally possible.
Hello KTM I have connected an HDMI 2.1 cable and my TV can run 100hz native and scaled to 120hz on my TV has a 2.1 connection
Okay… Then I would tap the same as paradox1899 … Look in-game, if it can be achieved, 120Hz should be displayed.
Then paradox 1899 is probably right about the interface.
All right then everything should fit.
Here is a video with timestamp. Seems as if the menu only makes 60Hz and you have to set the games yourself or it is even done automatically.
Here is shown how to set the games, think English shouldn't be a problem for you.
