Redeem psn code later?

I bought a few things for my boyfriend for Valentine's Day… I wanted to buy a psn card or a code via Amazon so that the code is sent to my email and then write the code on a card or something. Would jz buy it but only give it to him on Valentine's Day so in 3 days can you only redeem the code then?

I don't understand your question, but a code that was activated at the checkout is valid until you redeem it, something has no expiry date
