Hi
I bought a gaming pc and want to know if I can play with the pc and at the same time be in a ps4 party with my friends.
I have the astro a50 headset that is connected with a toslink connection and a usb connection and now i thought if i get a usb 3.0 hub i could possibly combine the microphone and the normal sound of pc and ps4 (pro) ( maybe with toslink splitter) is that even possible? Or is there maybe another solution that I can change the permanent and save the miserable game chat?
Didn't read anything from your text, just Aux cables to the controller and other ends in the PC. In the PC you go to input devices, select the controller and check in when listening.
Better read the text beforehand
This is a bluetooth headset with usb connection becomes difficult
I drink beer.
I'm just a little torn in my opinion about it. Technically, it could work, since a signal would come in analog, a signal in digital. It's just a question of what the headset does with it and whether it can operate both channels at the same time.
However, I would advise against it, because it may bring together two different circuits. This can have different effects on the headset. Maybe it just hums or hums, but maybe too much tension arrives and individual parts break or there are short ones.
I would not give it a try.
Doesn't change the way I described you. Your headset remains connected to the PC
Is there another solution?
Yes, but then I would always have the stupid aux cable flying around on the controller, which is exactly what I wanted to save when I bought a wireless headset
Have no other choice if the A50 does not support 2 inputs
Not even 5 seconds google:

Stupid question is there something wireless? 😅
I can't think of anything for the configuration. You should find a digital line splitter or mixer that can do both Tosslink and USB.
