Skyrim ps4 thalmorian message without equipment?

I accidentally clicked away the window where I could give the ally the equipment he smuggled in for me and now I'm being slapped away by the guys in the embassy all the time. I have already set the game to novice but still I have no chance without equipment. Do you have any tips for me how to get out of there?
