Is it possible to format an external PS4 hard drive back?

I have bought a new hard drive and have them formatted on the PS4 as extended memory. Unfortunately, that was not well thought out, since I already have a larger hard drive. Now I wanted to use this for movies. However, my PC no longer recognizes this hard drive, which means that I can't format it back. Does anyone have an idea how to undo this?

Is not it about the disk management of Windows? If not, take a partition manager.

Okay, well I just found it out myself. Simply with the PS4 on devices → USB storage devices → select hard disk with X → Optionst key press and then format back to ex… Done.
