This is more of a repetition of an already asked question from me, but this time it is after a few "tests" and a question comes up.
I had dusted my Ps4 yesterday, fans, cooling belts, etc. I noticed that my fan was turning very hard and that is the reason, in the end it was looser but not quite perfect
Previously, my Ps4 overheated relatively quickly, but only with powerful games and it was not too fast. Right after dedusting I played with her, although it lasted longer than usual but overheated anyway, I was disappointed, but one day later wanted to try if they overheated even in milder games, such as Fifa (she never overheated at Fifa). It overheated even before I was even on the menu, which had upset me a lot, and I tried a few hours later if only a software upgrade would help, since in the past, even before I dusted my Ps4, it helped with constant overheating. This turned out to be disappointing because my Ps4 overheated in the middle of the update, my ps4 was not loud at all, not warm at all and you could hear the fan if you listened to it, so it ran. Now I'm wondering if that's not about anything else.
Did you also renew the heat-conductive paste between the CPU / GPU and the cooler in your maintenance work, or did you not dismantle the chip cooler yourself?
Probably the thermal paste (pad) is ready, must be replaced. How do you do that? Take YouTube tutorials.
Nope, did not dismantle it but only dusted with cotton swabs and a vacuum cleaner, then he ran relatively loose. So it was easy to let him turn. Not yet perfect but better than before. I have not applied any new thermal paste, maybe that's the problem
Could be the reason have the ps4 since release and never replaced
Then it's probably this problem.
I asked if you had dismantled the complete aluminum heatsink for cleaning, whereby you would have seen the individual system chips?
Is it possible to order only?
So paste can order at Amazon, Alternate and Co. But even Saturn or Conrad offer that.
Oh, yes, I've also dismantled among others.
Did you then renew the heat conductive paste? If so, what paste did you actually take and did you have before ordering the new WLP all the old paste material thoroughly removed from the processors and the heat sink?
