Does anyone have experience with the Ark servers from Nitrado for Ps4 (pro / contra)? And do I still need PS Plus despite the server?
First of all: you always need ps + if you want to play online, with or without friends. And I can generally say that Nitrado offers good functioning servers.
Don't know if Playstation wants money there itself.
So far I have only used Nitrado for Minecraft Java and LS19. Have good uptime and performance, but sometimes they are a bit expensive. Especially with the vServers they are expensive, because with 1und1 you get 6 months for the same price.
I have hosted at Nitrado for many years and whenever the world is saved, I had short lags, but they were extremely annoying…
Play on an official server, they all run at Nitrado, why - nobody knows…
In any case, I switched to G-Portal, they also save the world, but you don't notice anything… Nothing at all…
So, if you want to host Ark, use G-Portal, with Minecraft you can stay with Nitrado…
You need PS Plus if you want to play online… There are no additional costs with the PC…
