I would like to know your opinion…
Would you rather recommend a PC so buy the parts and then assemble it (wouldn't actually be a problem) or the PS5 around next year? Because with the PC a lot of money comes together and when you consider that you have to replace the parts if you want good gameplay, but on the other hand you can use a PC for everything…
Thanks in advance and please don't just write, PS5 because Playstation is cool (and the other way around) or something.
Once a good PC is built, you don't have to constantly replace parts and as you said, a PC can do a lot more in the end.
My PC is my entertainment medium. Whether games, YouTube, Twitch, sites like this one. Everything can be done easily.
You can also stream on Twitch yourself with a PC. This is only possible to a limited extent with a console.
Basically you got that well. Buying the PS is cheaper, but with the PC you have more choice, more freedom and in general you can do more. Especially when someone like e.g. I like some indie titles. You rarely see them on consoles. But yes pc is a bit more expensive.
One can argue about renewal. If you buy really good hardware right away, you don't need to renew anything. At least not in the approximate time frame when you would need a new PS.
However, we're then at maybe 1500 euro.
If you buy a decent PC that is sufficient for current games on full HD, we would be at maybe 750 but then you are probably right because you have to upgrade something before the next generation of PS is available.
If it's all about gaming and you can handle the controller, safe ps.
Personally, I also have mail.yt twitch. Programs like editing programs or obs or something. Then Pc is much cooler.
This question comes up again and again with every generation of consoles.
You can't compare a PC and a console. What is better for you depends on what you want to do.
If you just want to play and not worry about the technology, then a console is just right for you.
If you want to work in addition to playing and are you ready to deal with the hardware and software, then the PC is the right choice.
The PC may also have to be upgraded because, unlike a console, the games are developed on a PC based on the principle that you get high quality graphics with high quality components. Therefore, new games are becoming more and more demanding in terms of hardware requirements.
With a console, the games are simply developed in such a way that they run well on the console (as it was defined), the graphics can be significantly worse than with a PC.
With a PC you have to easily spend twice as much for the same performance. I don't accept the argument "you can do more with a PC" because regardless of where you play, most of them still have a laptop or computer, it doesn't have to be a gaming PC. You could even turn the argument around, a PC is universally usable, but a PS5 eats specially designed for gaming.
Ultimately, I would make it dependent on the gaming experience. Personally, I prefer the PS5 because I prefer the controller, play on TV and I find it very pleasant that everything is from a single source.
But if I buy an office PC or laptop + PS then we're priced in the same size again. The price advantage is then gone and we're at similar costs. Thus the decisive cost factor advantage is gone and then you can buy a PC right away.
You can of course also use it on a TV and the controller anyway. So, according to your argument, there's no reason to buy a PS.
Well, I already own a lower-priced office laptop, plus the horsepower you might get 800 euro. But to be able to have good gameplay on a PC (comparable to the ps) you have to put more than 800 euro on the table 🤷♂️… That's my idea
