I built an external 4TB hard drive from Seagate in my Ps4 3 or 4 years ago. In the meantime, I have moved several times and have discovered that every time I disconnect the Ps4 from the power for transport (it was always switched off before normal), the entire content of the hard disk including system software is deleted. A few seconds without power connection are enough to clean the entire hard drive blank. Maybe someone has an idea why and how it could fix eventu3ll?
I would install a new hard drive, because what happened to your current one is not normal.
Yes, I thought so only after I had reinstalled everything ran it again 2 years without problems until I'm now moved this week again and now the whole plate is empty again
Still, that's not normal. So I've already had my XBOX One with 2 moves and turn off, after the Xbox is out of power and still have all the data.
