I hope you can help me. My problem is this: I would like to start streaming on Twitch, but my stream always has a delay of 15-20 seconds when I turn it on. I've already searched through the Internet but unfortunately found no answer. I followed a lot of tips such as. Set low latency at Twitch, but even then you can't. Maybe something about the bit rate? I'm really at a loss. I have a 400 line from Unitymedia (Vodafone) I also did a speed test with the following values: 437 mbits download, 19 mbits upload and a ping of 16ms. PC is of course connected to LAN.

Isn't that normal? According to the Internet, it is usually 7 to 20 seconds.

High bandwidth is not the same as good ping and good ping is not the same as fast processing speed.

The graphics data still have to be buffered and rendered by various computers.

If you ever see a live broadcast via satellite and IP, you will also notice the offset, although the route via satellite is much longer. The analog terrestrial broadcasting is even "faster".

So when I watch a stream from MontanaBlack or Unplayed etc. It is usually 1-2 seconds, that's why.

mi

Sure, but if I, for example. Watch a stream yourself (MontanaBlack, Inscope21, unung) it is almost in real time, at most 1-2 seconds delay.

Perhaps this is also due to the fact that they are treated preferentially as partners, but I do not know anything about it. Try to test stream in a low resolution (360p), if that is delayed, it will not be up to your PC.

ob

Maybe because the partners are there, they have better and more computing time.
