A buddy of mine streams via PC only PC games. We recently talked about whether you actually play PS4 that you can play straight, on the PC via Twitch, etc. Can stream?
So I play on PS4, stream over PC on the platform Twitch.
Does anyone know? Do you need the Capture Card? Or is that intended for something else?
Streamer use a capture card for such applications.
You connect the HDMI output of the PS4 to the capture card and this transmits the image and the sound to the PC.
You can then use this signal as an input signal for a streaming software, such as Use OBS and stream it on Twitch.
For such a thing I use the Elgato HD60. This is a capture card that can transmit in 1080p with 60fps. This can be used not only for streaming but also for video recording. Either you use your own Elgato software or simply transfer the image to OBS and stream it with OBS.
With the PS4 you have to disable only before the copy protection otherwise no picture comes through.
For this you need a capture card without which you will not make it to us so cheap they are not!
Elgato is the manufacturer that comes to mind
Is also a used capture card or must it be necessarily new?
A used one should go but I'm not sure
Of course you can also use a used one.
