So we had quite a 16mbit at Telekom, for many years that I do not even know when it was. After my 13th birthday where I just got a new cell phone and I was busy on a laptop, the wlan felt crashed 1-2 times a day and then I persuaded my father to switch to 1&1 50mbit.
Everything fits right now, but my father wants to switch to Vodaphone 16mbit this year to save money but I doubt ilgendwie that it is sufficient with us.
So we're three of us in an apartment connected to 4 phones, 1 laptop every day actively with the TV and my gaming PC where I occasionally play zocke or ye look twitch livestreams look. Can I still look at twitch full hd and 60 fps with 16mbit download and 1mbit upload? Or still good gamble on PC and mobile?
Is 16mbit downloadable with 1mbit upload for all of us?
Is that still there? If you have landline with Internet at Vodafone, and a cell phone contract, it will cost 10 euro cheaper.
Take a look at what they offer, then you can have a say and maybe convince him that it must already be 100 Mbit.
Full HD 60FPS lasts at 16 Mbit. But it gets critical when the TV is running and others download something. However, I would not recommend this tariff and stay with the 50 Mbit.
My father will say that we do not need it. So games on the phone or pc download already have several GB are just critical, because you can start quietly in the morning and evening it is ready
Everything goes smoothly, expect about 6 Mbit / s per FullHD stream (60 FPS).
Only 4K is just not really what and downloads of games (even updates) last forever in most games.
"is the wlan felt every day crashed 1-2 times"
That had other reasons
P.S.: Beat him instead to switch to O2, since the 50 Mbit / s tariff costs just as much as Vodafone's 16 Mbit / s:

Where anyway hardly worthwhile or how much do you currently pay?
I've heard too many bad things with O2
Is nothing else than 1&1 and Vodafone (regarding DSL)
But ultimately it is important if you get what you want. At O2, I've heard that the Internet is often a problem, service should be unfriendly and I have read more negative than positive things on the internet
"At O2, I've heard that the Internet often causes problems"
The connection is realized in all three vendors (Vodafone only DSL) technically as well on the telecom, so makes no difference. O2 once had its own DSLAM infrastructure, l was not that great, but that is a long time ago and the last of these connections, I think in 2014 from the network.
"Service should be unfriendly and I have read more negative than positive things on the internet altogether"
Do you read about each provider.

So I see there's no difference.
(You will have exactly the same connection with all three providers at 50 Mbit / s)
