I installed NetLimiter because I get ping spikes in games as soon as I run Twitch or Youtube in the background even though I have 130-140 Mbit download and 30-40 Mbit upload constantly, I actually never have problems with my Internet, which should be more than enough.
So with NetLimiter on Google Chrome I limited the DL to 15 Mbit and the UL to 2 Mbit, but I still get this ping spike game because I have now observed the whole thing during the speed test and at first the DL is normal during the speed test high, so it jumps up and then after 1-2 seconds the DL goes down to the 15 Mbit I limited. But exactly because it takes the 1-2 seconds for NetLimiter to react, I still have these ping spikes.
Therefore my question: Is there a way Google Chrome max. E.g. 15 Mbit download available so that Chrome can't jump to a higher download in the first moment?
Are you sure that you have set Mbit / s and not MB / s?
If it is MB / s, it is no wonder that you still have great ping. Because then you would have almost set the maximum of your maximum Internet speed.
No, they are actually Mbits.
