Is that a good sign that my junky RX580 will finally break?

So first I can remember at the beginning that in the Rewi lobby in Minecraft Server under Shader Mod I reached up to a maximum of 20 FPS, but then up to 18FPS and since today up to 13 FPS and as a new record under 5 FPS.

So and then scrolling back and forth in the browser also stutters a little. The mouse cursor also catches twitching every now and then.

But even in the Twitch video, several micro stutters got.

Do you think that's a very good sign that my RX580 graphics card is finally broken. Because this graphics card annoys me because of constant FPS drops with Shader Mod.

Unlikely it's because of the hardware. So in the sense of a defect.

Ca

A pity?

Sl

I suspect your problem somewhere else and not at the GraKa.

Probably your system is just cluttered and has been running on the same installation for a very long time, in combination this swallows a lot of performance even under Win10.

If that is not the case, I would also take a look at your CPU and RAM, but in all likelihood it will not be GraKa.

Ca

Too bad. I would like my RX to finally break. Because I finally want a new graphics card. Do you think that will happen at least next year at the latest?

Sl

I just say that a new GraKa would only bring you something, my guess is that the rest of your system is not potent enough to host a stronger GraKa.

The RX580 is certainly not an outstanding sprinter, but offers enough power to fire VR yourself.

Check out your rest of the system, there should be the real problem.

In any case, it is not due to your graphics card, since you can't use the RX 580 for max. You should have 20, but 50 or more FPS in Minecraft with shaders.

Looks like your CPU (unlikely) or RAM is going to give up. It is more likely that your CPU or graphics card simply overheats. Would that also explain that the FPS are falling increasingly. Have you ever cleaned / dusted your PC?
