I want to start streaming soon, unfortunately I only have this configuration and can only play a few current titles.

Processor: Amd A8-6500

Graphics card: Gt710 2gb Vram

Ram: 16GB 667MHz DDR3 Ram

Upgrade or buy new. I know you should have at least 6 cores for streaming and I wanted to ask to stay on am3+ or switch to am4?

And how about a new GPU?

My price limit would be 800 euro.

I look forward to answering!

I would recommend a b550 motherboard, you are free to choose, they are all good. In addition the AMD Ryzen 5 3600, or if you have patience the 5600, it is currently not in your price segment. When it comes to RAM, I recommend at least 16 GB and a minimum clock rate of 3200 MHz.

The graphics card is of course a problem at the moment. They are just way too expensive at the moment. You will now get good graphics cards for an acceptable price in summer at the earliest. But, take a look around, you might find a cheap offer somewhere for a used graphics card that has at least acceptable performance. Depending on what kind of power supply you have, you will also need a new one. If you're lucky, you can use your old case.

If you still need to know something, feel free to ask again. But, actually, you should be able to easily find out all the information you still need when you google.

First of all thanks for your answer. And yes, I have another question? How much Vram would be recommended with this configuration?

pr

If you buy a used graphics card to bridge the gap, 2 to 4 GB are sufficient. With a new one, it should actually be at least 8 gigabytes. As soon as prices have normalized, I can recommend the RTX 3060, which has an MSRP of 329 euro. But currently it costs twice as much. This then has 12 GB of VRAM, by the way.

Ca

I don't need one to bridge it, because I have the GT710! 2 GB Vram would be really incredible.

pr

The problem with your current graphics card is that the two gigabytes of VRAM it has are not meaningful. Because the GT 710 does not have its own processor. It taps all of the power from the main processor. All modern graphics cards have their own processors.

Ca

Ok, thanks for the clarification

Is the cost with or without assembling? I would build it myself too

pr

Without assembly, assembly usually costs between 100 and 130 euro. I'd rather assemble it myself. I've always done mine too. If you don't know how, there are more than enough tutorials on YouTube.

Ca

Do you think if the prices calm down that goes to 800-900 euro?

Except for the mainboard, that's what you described

With a fancier case, of course

pr

No, the finished PCs always cost the same regardless of market prices.

If you buy the components individually, the PC will cost you around 850 to 900 euro, maybe a little less or more. The graphics card is the reason for the fluctuations, depending on how much it costs in summer.

The GPus has to do with Bitcoin mining, doesn't it?

pr

Partly, but mainly, there's the corona crisis. Many of the factories in Asia were idle for several months last year. And right now, there's a shortage of some materials. As a result, they can't produce at full capacity, and the factories now have to meet last year's demand.

In addition, Google, Apple and Microsoft are currently upgrading their servers. You are currently buying massive amounts of memory, hard drives and graphics cards. There's not much left for the free market. That's why the prices are so high right now.
