I plan to start with Twitch this year and I wanted to ask whether it is best to start with Just Chatting or stream a game that is currently in the hype ^^

Edit: Webcam and condenser microphone are of course at the start.

I would only start chatting when you have 50-100 viewers.

Better start with a game

If you want to start streaming, you should first focus on one thing, that is just chatting or playing games. Of course you can do both. But with games, for example, I would really only focus on one and not stream on 4 or 5 other games, because your follower then followed you for Fortnite and not for League of Legends (of course it depends on what you hate streamed there ). I would actually start streaming with a game, because it is only really worth streaming Just Chatting if you also use a webcam (in my opinion - because with your viewer, for example, the reaction to the respective situation…). And, for example, you start with just chatting and only hate 3 viewers, what do you want to talk about when maybe. Who is an AFK or who does not write anything in the chat. I could tell you so much more now, but that would take too long. And if you hate questions, just write.

The webcam would be there and the appealing location anyway

But as I said, I would start with a game first, and with 10-15viewer average with Just Chatting
