FTB Modpack lags behind despite relatively good hardware?

My hardware:

Graphics card | Rx560x
Processor | AMD Ryzen 2500u
RAM | 8gb

I currently play a lot with modpacks in Minecraft. I start the modpacks as normal via Twitch. However, when I enter the world, it is very heavy and it lasts for a long time. I have about 3/4 FPS. Minecraft also accepts the graphics card well. I use optifine. Actually, something like that should work with my hardware, right? Back then, with a poorer PC, I could play more smoothly than now.

Do you know how I can fix this?

ra

I would say that your graphics card does not have enough power. I have a GTX 1080ti and even with that not everything is possible. I would recommend installing a better graphics card.

De

Did you allocate more RAM to Minecraft?

El

I think it uses about 3.8 GB of ram. That should be enough

El

Hm. But why did an Intigrated graphics unit work even better then?

De

Allocate a little more and see if it gets better.

El

Okay, I do

ra

Sadly I can't tell you that. But I could guess that maybe your RAM bars don't have enough heart for it.

El

I currently suspect Minecraft has too little ram. Even during the loading process, the allocated ram is already 98% full. I'm assigning more right now. Let's see if it works now

El

Hmm. Minecraft now has enough ram and it is not fully used. Nevertheless, it is still extremely extreme.

De

Hmm. Do you have any programs running in the background that are performing well? (Task Manager)

El

Nope, nothing. Only the mod

El

I just started FTB Infinity Evolved. Everything runs perfectly at 200 FPS. However, when I play FTB Continuum it is extremely difficult

El

Okay, found the problem. The Forge version was ancient. I just chose the latest one and it's running at 150FPS. Perfect.

De

Excellent!
