Canon EOS 2000D as a streaming camera?

I'm currently looking for a better "webcam" for streaming on Twitch, since I have just become an affiliate and it is going uphill. Can the EOS 2000D be used for streaming without it turning off or the mirror falling down? I heard something that it should be the case with some DSLR cameras. (Stream link is available)

According to https://www.guidetocamera.com/reviews/canon-eos-rebel-t7-eos-2000d-review/, the camera supports Clean HDMI, which would be necessary for this.

By default, you can output the camera image via HDMI and see almost the entire screen. Only with Clean HDMI are the overlays faded out and only the actual video signal passed on.

If the website is right, it would be possible via HDMI; then e.g. https://www.elgato.com/de/gaming/cam-link-4k.

Hi

for what should you use a DSLR for something that a 50 euro webcam can do much more elegantly and qualitatively better?
Why buy a DSLR with the long list of disadvantages / problems if you only want to create videos with it anyway / has to do it, especially because an EOS M100 with STM optics is significantly cheaper and the better / more suitable video product (OK, pretty much everything better than a 2000D, except the 4000D)
Canon deliberately limits the functionality of its products according to the price range, after all, streaming firmware is now in the works for EOS R types and there's a software client (currently only as beta version https://www.usa.canon.com/...-utility/). There are rumors that Canon DSLR / DSLM will get autofocus functions via firmware when streaming via HDMI and that the soundtrack will then be streamed via HDMI. Good because sound from camera microphone is not really needed, but it facilitates the synchronization of several sources because Canon DSLR / DSLM usually "run away" after a few minutes and are not genlock or time-lock capable. In principle, Canon is now building what the competition has been able to do for 8 years (eg Sony NEX5n with Sony streaming hardware chain)
just because the EOS 2000D is "video capable" in the brochure does not mean that it is a video camera, let alone a good / usable video camera
you should think this through completely, so first clarify which software / hardware you want to use for streaming / must result in the sensibly usable end devices, e.g. The free OBS expects the installer / user to work with the command line or compile a cam link or one Grabber cards are "ready out of the box" cost 100 euro and up and are not so flexible. You can often use old MPEG hardware at least if SD quality is sufficient

For the Youtubers Canon has the GX series or just wants to push / start the G7XIII in the market in order to recapture the lost market share (due to mangement on the part of the Canon marketing fool) with Youtubers or Instagramers. The problem is that many users have migrated to completely different platforms and YouTube has practically gone out of fashion. The other problem is that apart from Marketingblah the last 10 years has not delivered anything real but the Canon "hype" in principle based on DSLR camera hacks from Denz / Denitz and Magic Lantern which Canon knocked out to secure the EOS C sales.
