I'm currently streaming on Twitch and since the situation on Twitch is just getting worse and I could theoretically reach more viewers on YouTube, I might switch to YouTube.
What's your opinion?
If you have more subscriptions than on Twitch (in this case followers) and your subscriptions are also active and not inactive, then of course on YT, if not, then switch to Twitch. My friend only got affiliate through 10 streams + 8 viewers

Personally, I would and will always stay with Twitch, as long as there isn't a huge amount of going wrong.
Overall, I think it's just MUCH better as a streaming platform. For me personally, streaming on Youtube is now junk. But each his own. A matter of taste. In itself it doesn't matter if you leave Twitch. You can also use restream.io e.g. Stream on both at the same time. I also did this for a while, until Youtube became too annoying for me because it felt like they completely deleted every stream because of copyrighted music. On Twitch, they only have to do that afterwards in a few places and that's it.
