I asked a colleague if he could paint me an overlay for my Twitch streams. He thinks he needs a sketch where exactly there has to be free space that is transparent at the end.
I know what aspect ratio these areas need, but unfortunately I don't know how to do it. I can't handle something like Gimp, and with Paint it's very difficult to make a rectangular area with a certain aspect ratio.
Could someone please help me there? Or explain in detail how this would work in Gimp?
Oh yes and of course the whole picture has to be 1920x1080.
Might use Photoshop or Sketchbook if you have a drawpad
No have none of it. I can't do anything with image processing myself… Unfortunately, that's the problem.
Yeah, that makes the whole thing more difficult
Did it with OBS, sometimes you only come up with the simplest ideas afterwards.
Why made
In Streamlabs obs there are great free and paid overlays, which you can edit yourself afterwards. For example, I made my own transition.
Yes they are based on the game in full screen, but I have a smaller screen so that you can see the game in full. I'm not a friend of gossiping something like a facecam about the game.
A specially made screen also looks better.
Whether I take a cheap 08/15 overlay or have my own made for a fee is up to me.
