Is it still really worth it today to stream on Youtube or Twitch?

I'm male and 17 years old and I also have my own YouTube channel.

I do live streams on it every now and then.

I only know that I can't become famous or successful with live streams, so I would like to ask you to give me your opinion on whether I should buy the rest of my equipment and then really start with videos… Or whether you are of the opinion that it is no longer worthwhile these days and that I can promise to save the money.

How do you define that it would be "worth it" for you?

Wa

Honestly?

-Try it…

I follow a streamer on Twitch who has only been on it for six months and you know what?

- He has 1673 followers.

Of course there are also those that don't get that much success so quickly. But at some point they will also get 1,000 followers.

But just give it a try😊

I mean it.

Is it still possible today to become as famous on one of these platforms as Fixx, knossi, monte… Or because there are already so many streamers, it's nonsense to start streaming and videos now… 😬

Thanks for your feedback, I'll let everything go through my head

Possible, yes of course, just very unlikely. So I would say if you are only interested in getting famous, no, it's not worth it.

Ne

If by "worth it" you mean financially, please don't. If you enjoy it, do it, but please not for the money.

Financially, it depends on how you market yourself and where you set moral boundaries.

If you mean first and foremost awareness and a large community: Yes. This is always possible. Someone who tries hard will never go unrewarded. Those who think success on YouTube is pure coincidence have thought too short. The only thing that is determined by chance is when you become known.

Follow your heart,

I know it sounds weird, but do what you enjoy

I myself started streaming late and e.g. Reached "Affiliate" on Twitch, which is a milestone for me.

In itself, you too can manage to get bigger.

But you must never forget the most important:

Don't do it for money, just enjoy what you do.
