How is that with the copyright, i plan to do an RL stream on youtube or twitch where we (n buddies and me) react to other videos (eg terra X lesch & co), we would like to show these videos in the stream as well and reacted to it. Is that okay for the platform if you also give the source (text what video of whom it is)? A heartfelt thank you!

On twitch you can "show" everything. It is not legal and the copyright laws continue to apply, but since it is a stream and you do not save it as a video, you should have no problems.

I have also never seen anyone face any consequences due to reaction videos / streams. Except for radio on YouTube

If there were now extreme cases where people are streaming Netflix or something like that, it would probably be problematic, but as far as I know, it doesn't work either

Twitch: You can react to all videos and listen to any music.

Youtube: Copyright music is claimed by the producer (advertising revenue of the stream / video goes to him). There's a risk of being banned in some reactions. Usually you need permission from everyone. But with Rewi or something, they don't care if you react. For example only For reactions to Unge you need permission from him, otherwise you will be automatically striked (I used to. But I clarified it with him). Reactions to RTL programs are striked directly.

For explanation:

1. Strike = Mostly 90 days of streaming prohibited.

From the 3rd strike: delete the channel

As far as I know, you should not show full images of copyrighted material, so it is best to show a smaller overlay that only two thirds of the image fill.

Then there's a time limit, but I don't know exactly how much that is.

But as far as I know it is very complicated and most YouTubers have given it up.

The easiest would be a live stream, you just may not publish it afterwards, on private you can archive it for yourself.

You can do everything there, but the algorithms in the live stream react very quickly to image material in full screen, so this should work with reduced fade-ins.
