Online video courses during Corona?

My mother has a yoga studio and that has to close temporarily due to the current situation.

That is why she would like to continue the courses online, but preferably only for the people selected by her so that she can continue to get her money. For this we need a platform on which one can either stream lives and viewers can only watch with login data or a website on which videos can be uploaded and which can only be accessed by registered users.

It would be important that the videos can't be downloaded so that the lessons continue normally after the "vacation".

Do you know of such platforms? Twitch or YouTube are rather unsuitable for this, right?

And all of that for free and very quickly - right?

Cr

Doesn't have to be free. But as quickly as possible.

But do not know if the comment was now meant sarcastically

You can always download it somehow, depending on how resourceful some people are when it comes to IT…

Does she have a homepage? Just set up a page with restricted access there. You just give the password to the members.

Maybe a closed Facebook group, where you restrict who can enter. And thus, as far as I know, sharing is only possible within the group?

Fa

Yes, whoever is resting at vea # is probably sitting comfortably on the couch and can't imagine in his cerebellum that for some small businesses it is really about survival.

It has a website, I will test it this time, thank you first!

My mum is always very skeptical of Facebook… I'll keep you informed, thank you

As far as I know, you can put live streams on YouTube on private after streaming. So that practically only the "owner" sees it. Then there's this member function. It should be possible to make livestreams visible only to members. Members also have to pay a monthly fee. Maybe you can get in touch with YouTube somehow because I believe that the member function only gets bigger YouTubers.

Well, maybe I could help you!

I know of a yoga teacher who is now continuing her courses online with "Zoom", actually a business meeting software. There all participants can obviously see themselves small, the yoga teacher is great. You can also switch the sound on and off individually.

Everything sounded very usable. Have a look. I don't know anything about the costs.

Cr

Thank you, that sounds pretty good too. I'll try it out!
