Hello is it possible to join an Xbox server with a pc because you are hosting via your Xbox and if so I can join the server if I bought ark from steam.
The host (i.e. The one who operates the server) must open the appropriate ports at home, which are those, is in the server settings…
The ports must be UDP enabled and require an IPv4 to work…
So if the host is fiber optic or Unity media customer, you can forget about the project right away.
otherwise the server should be found in the server list and you should be able to join it easily…
I haven't tried it myself yet, but I have a server that you can find if you are looking for "Andy-Fun" - to try or to stay tuned.
So the Xbox is connected to the same network as my pc
Local so… To be honest, I'm not sure, but there's a way to connect directly to the host.
To do this, you have to right-click on the game within Steam, then on Settings, in General on "Set start options" and there you also enter "+ connect 127.0.0.1:27015" in addition to the existing one, where 127.0.0.1 is the IP of the host GOT TO…
the specified IP refers to your own computer, so it will not work unless you are a host, which would actually be better…
however, the ports must still be released - in the above case 27015 UDP.
the local IP of the Xbox is best found in the overview of your Fritz box, if you have one…
So me and my boyfriend want to play together I bought it on steam and he bought it at Microsoft. Can we even play together? You seem to have more knowledge of ark than I do
Yes, I have a little idea, but actually only in the Steam version, because that's the only thing…
as I said, joint on my server, if the XBox version can do that, then you can play together…
