If I cancel Xbox Game Pass for PC, will games be uninstalled?

I want to cancel my Game Pass subscription for a few months because I don't have much time at the moment anyway. Do I have to download all the games again if I leave the Xbox app installed or do they stay installed when I get the Game Pass again?
