Are you going to switch to the upcoming console generation right away?

As is known, the next generation of consoles is just around the corner.

The new Xbox and the PS5 are in the starting blocks.

Are you going to buy the console directly? Or do you still wait until the price drops and / or more games come out.

Or are you not going to get them first?

For me it depends on which games are included at the start. If there's a game I really want to play, I buy it right away. If not I wait until a game comes out that I want.

At the moment I only play on the PC and the switch, I will probably only get the PS5 and Xbox in a few years because I'm satisfied with my current setup.

I definitely always wait a very long time and carefully consider whether a console and its games are worth buying, since you are already wasting a lot of money

But yes, at some point a new console will surely come again. 😉

Buy the latest cell phone every year for 1000 euro but if after 7 years a new console for 500 euro appears then is it too expensive?

Well not exclusively, I also have a Nintendo Switch and some older consoles. But there's no point in the current or new generation of consoles that drives me to buy.

I want to buy the next Xbox, but wait a bit if the console costs more than 500 euro. At least a year after the release I get the series X.
