Have you ever bought new or used consoles and how long did they last until they showed the first malfunctions or then finally gave up the ghost. (CD drive, power supply, ring of death in the game disks, etc.).
Even with a PC you can play games like this with the right emulator. My first pc lasted 10 years and would have lasted longer if I hadn't connected it wrong!
A used pc is available from 120 euro 150 200 euro etc. They often last for another 2-4 years and are no worse than new PCs!
