About 2 hours ago, Microsoft hosted a new big event showing gameplay, games and more.
In my opinion one of the best events ever.
Find it funny that Sony toddlers on Redit wanted to thumb down the stream from Microsoft, which shows how weak the Sony community actually is.

Halo alone: Infinite is better than anything else shown at the PS5 event! There were other games that looked interesting, but only because of Halo: Infinite is worth it!
👍 I agree that Halo Infinite is simply significantly better than any Ps5 game shown.
For example, I found The Medium and The Ground very, very great and appealing
More gameplay would have been cool. And it has been confirmed that an xbox is less worthwhile as a pc player.
All you could see was footage taken on an Xbox Series X:-)
The Xbox is trash. The only good games that ever came out for this was halo 1-4. But there were also for PC. Was pretty disappointing what was shown there.
May be, but it wasn't really gameplay either. Sony has shown more. (I'm not a Sony fanboy)
Your answer is garbage
Looking forward to the Consolewars with the flames of the 14 year old fanboys
:-)
Fortunately, I switched to the PC, so I can call myself a proud Microsoft customer.
Proud Microsoft customer is poor enough.
Yes, gladly: Being a proud Windows user is pretty poor. Linux is much better and on the day you can play properly, I'm instantly away from windoof
Aha.
I'm a PlayStation fan, but that doesn't mean I have to find XBOX bad. Still, I expected more from their "super revolutionary" 12 terra flops. I don't know why, but the PS4 games even look BETTER than the XBOX SERIES X games. And nobody can tell me that Halo Infinit looks good. The sequences don't look nearly realistic, the graphics are, to be honest, awful.
Of course, graphics are not everything, but if you advertise with the 12 terra flops, you can at least expect better graphics than with the PS5 concept. But it wasn't.
Then at the end to say that you have the best game line up ever was really cringe
But I looked at it. I looked at it very closely and saw halo flopping textures and a strange goblin with very bad textures and facial animations.
When I saw the live stream, I was a little disappointed at first. No better or worse than the PS5 event, more on that later, but also no eye opener or argument to buy the Series X for release. As you can see I stand or in my case better said I was not alone with the opinion.
But in retrospect it was a very balanced and good presentation with numerous titles of every kind and a great argument for the gamepass. If you look at all the trailers again individually and more precisely in 4k instead of the sometimes jerky stream limited to 1080p, you can also see the technical improvements.
In addition, there's obviously information that is probably not familiar to everyone and therefore can't really emphasize the performance of the Series X and thereby diminish the impression of many. I want to give this to all skeptics and grumblers so that they can put their judgment into perspective again.
Since Microsoft specifies that all games that appear with the release of Series X must continue to run on a One, this is of course a technical hurdle for the developers. You have to take the current consoles as a basis, but you are free to play the games, similar to the One to the One X, to optimize for the Series X.
Although that means a subtly better frame rate, resolution or general graphics, none of the games are Series X exclusive. The true performance can't be called up because the old generation slows down the developers.
It's part of Microsoft's strategy for at least a year. Only then will exclusive games appear. The reason for this is even understandable but apparently poorly communicated, since it has not yet reached the heads of gamers. You don't force Xbox players to buy a new expensive platform because of exclusives, they give them time. And over time, optimized Series X Exclusives will come.
But with Forza Motorsports there was a preview of what the console is capable of, which will probably only appear in 2021 or even 2022. It looked so good that it is hard to believe that ingame graphics were presented here. The Gran Tourismo demo at the Sony Event, on the other hand, just looks lame.
In addition, you should know that the Halo presentation due to Corona is based on a half-year-old developer build and is therefore not up to date. For example, Raytracing is firmly committed to appearing on the Series X. I thought it was great anyway.
State of Decay 3 with reasonable graphics, Everwild by Rare with a magical look, stalkers, or Warhammer are, although no gameplay, games to look forward to. Especially with the power of the Series X.
Clearly there were absolute disappointments. Tetris, seriously? Or what is the short clip from Hellblade? Destiny 2 optimized for Series X in gamepass?
But overall it was really very short and mostly quite interesting.
Of course, the most hyped me was the announcement of Fable, although that was suspected in advance. This will also be an exclusive in 1 or 2 years, but the announcement alone is awesome.
And now something about the PS5 event to make the comparison. What should I flash so that I have to buy the console? An addon for Spiderman with pretty graphics of the main game? A Gran Tourismo that didn't look impressive and the release is unknown? The same applies to Horizon Zero Dawn 2 which looked great but will not be a launch title and the predecessor got boring after half time? Or a remake of an ancient Demon Souls that looked so-so and just doesn't interest me?
So, sorry has become a bit too much, but I wanted to share my impressions and opinions so that sworn fanboys or haters just reconsider their opinion.
You already have a comment on the topic from me, which hopefully sheds some light on you.
Halo will definitely be an absolute grenade, but I did not find the technology very convincing.
I answer in my actual answer why that must be so, if you like to read it.
Don't worry, there are loads of good games for that.
And a few million users can't be wrong.
