I've connected a 3TB external hard drive to my Xbox One for over 4 years. Yesterday it still ran flawlessly, but nothing has worked since today. The hard drive "scratches" three times in a row, then pauses briefly and then "scratches" three times again. She repeats this all the time. The hard drive is not recognized by any other device. What should I do?
If it would not start again, components that shouldn't be touching would probably touch and scratch accordingly. Somebody will have to open it and fix it.
