How can I get the game sound on my headset?

I have an Xbox one and since today the problem that although I hear the voice chat over the headset, but the game sound only on the TV…

But I want to have both on my headset, how can I change that?

Do you have a real gaming headset so headphones with microphone or just a simple headset to talk. And how did you connect it?

As a general rule, speech input is only made via the controller and thus a normal headset is also connected there. If you want to have sound via headphones, only the optical input on the console remains, as even this only outputs the sound.
