At the 1st lockdown I had a PC built with only 500gb SSD, now of course I need more (think of ~ 1-2tb SSD).
so my specs:
MSI! 30118 B450M PRO-VDH MAX B450 AM4 (Ryzen) SI! 30194
1 AMD Ryzen 5 3600 Tray AM4 6x3.6GHz 6-Core 30174
1 AMD Bundle - Xbox Game Pass for PC Email Voucher 100328
1 DDR4 PC3000 G.Skill 16GB (2x8GB) AEGIS CL16 1.35V 27271
1 SSD Intel 660p 512GB M.2 2280 PCIe3.0 x4 (NVMe) brown Ver 29511
1 Palit RTX2070Super GamePro triple fan 8GB DDR6 retail
The SSD should be for gaming, what would you recommend? (I have no idea about SSD)
So this one should be the same one that is already built in with more space: 233 euro

and this one is a lot more expensive: 286 euro (allegedly lowered from 419 euro)

So what's the difference? I read that you don't need the most expensive SSDs for gaming, but I don't want to buy cheap tickets either (the two were just an example), what would you recommend me to play?
The differences are mainly different technology (SLC, MLC, TLC, QLC) and whether cache or not.
Currently for 244 EUR Samsung 970 EVO Plus Internal NVMe SSD 2TB M.2 2280

Or if 1 TB is enough for you, 84 EUR Crucial P2 SSD 1TB M.2 2280 PCIe 3.0 x4:

He already has ne nvme. He should use a normal sata ssd
Above all, you should note that you normally (and after a short googling, I think with your Mobo too) can't install a 2 SSD at the same time.
At least not if you want to use the speed of M2.
You would then have to remove the old SSD and insert the new one or connect the second via SATA.
But connected via Sata you have no M2 speed but "only" Sata speed. That is roughly 5 times faster than HDD but only roughly a quarter of the speed of m2.
