Additional drivers needed?

I'm planning to play Minecraft Java Edition with an Xbox One s controller because I have heard that it should work and now I'm wondering how to connect the controller to the PC and whether you need additional drivers or whether it really works

Nope past everything, I had the same problem but I found out that it works without a driver
