How do you find people who spend their time playing video games (PC, Playstation, XBox.)?
I don't have an opinion on other people because everyone can do what they want (except if someone gets injured, of course)

Just as useful as everything else that people do when they have time and fun.
Just as useful as playing football, puzzles, collecting trains, building Lego, reading a book, watching TV, collecting stamps, etc. Everyone finds something boring and someone else has a lot of fun with it.
Others collect stamps, tinker with their car (which always breaks down anyway), build model airplanes or take pictures of flowers.
So if someone "gamble" as a hobby, that's nothing else… Doesn't bring society more than most other people's hobbies.
