Will the XboxSeriesX Ui (menu) still only be 1080?

I find the picture quality of the Ui on my One x terrible for a 4k console. I can play 4k games but still with the 1080p Ui. Is that also the case with the series x?

The Ps5 apparently has a 4k ux

I think that's unfair.

The two new boxes are sure to have a 4K UI

I rather hope that Microsoft doesn't make such a confusing botch again

Ja

The XboxSeriesX has confirmed a ui with 1080p, but 120hz.

Hopefully Microsoft will change that.

There was already an update for the Xbox One, which is supposed to represent the new UI of the XSX / XOX.

Sk

Yes, the PS5 is displayed in 4K. But now I don't see any particular added value. I can of course be wrong, but I think that's unnecessary. 😅

If that is the case, it means that we keep this garbage then I should probably cancel my Series S…

You should have left the first dashboard

It was much better to use

Ja

4k hdr and 1080p is quite a difference. Well it doesn't matter, this time it will be the Ps5 anyway.

Sk

I also see that many "experts" are disappointed that the XSX won't (yet) offer that. 😅

Sk

Yeah, I was never really excited about it either. Can't understand why you hold onto it either.

Ho

The sense of a 4K UI does not fully understand me now. Swallows performance with no real benefit. A UI is used for the (simple / fast) operation of the console.

Should MS decide to offer 4K resolution (which I hope not, if that can slow down the menu navigation), it will be available the next day via update.

The games should offer 4K with at least 60FPS as far as possible, the UI could also be a 30 year old MS-DOS.
