Microsoft would announce something like this beforehand
There are also a number of Xbox 360 games in the Gamepass and in the One / Series Store
Turning off the server makes no sense
Some games don't even require servers to run peer to peer. And it is precisely these games that can always run online - provided that Microsoft does not specifically block the console from the Xbox Live Network, which would make little sense because of their Ak program. A game that uses peer to peer, for example, is Ace Combat 6 - hardly anyone has been online for years, there are almost always no lobbies, and yet you can gamble online without any problems. Since Namco Bandai and the developers of Ace combat 6 have not implemented any servers for AC6, nothing has to be switched off for an Xbox 360 game like this one. However, not every game has peer-to-peer connections, flushes such as Halo 3/4 / Reach / Wars require online servers for public matches, or CO OP sessions such as PVP, Reach Coop campaign or H4 Spartan Ops. These servers are from 343i, so they are managed by them.
