How good is the Ps4 pro compared to the xbox one x?

If possible with justification.

Ma

Both have their advantages.

The PS4 Pro has more exclusive games, the Xbox One X is a bit more powerful…

I personally would rather choose the PS4 simply because I find the whole design simpler and clearer.

Eg

I think the PS4 Pro is better because it looks better for my taste and the controllers are much more comfortable to hold.

Now I come to the exclusive titles. There are simply not enough good titles on the Xbox (again a matter of taste) and on PS4 there are many varied titles that I have played through a lot.

And now my conclusion. The PS4 Pro and Xbox One have advantages and disadvantages, although I see less of the Ps4 Pro, so it depends on the tastes.

The Xbox One x has a whole lot more power

and is currently cheaper with 299 euro

In terms of hardware, the XBox is more powerful than the PS. The XBox is also cheaper than the Ps4 Pro. Objectively, the XBox is clearly the better buy.

If you have subjective features such as controllers, exclusive games and which console your friends have and the like are important, then the Ps4 is also worth considering. However, since you don't seem to have any preferences here, the XBox would be a better choice.

My

Technically, these two consoles are still based on the old AMD Jaguar CPU with 8 cores (slightly revised), which is clocked slightly higher in the XBox X with 2.3 GHz than the 2.1 GHz in the PS4 - Per.

Graphically, the XBox X offers almost 20% more rendering performance on paper than the PS4-Pro. (both Radeon-based, and probably something between Polaris to Vega, or possibly even "Navi")

If I compare the power consumption found on the web (XBox X = approx. 180 vs. PS4-Pro = approx. 310), I could guess that in the XBox X an underclocked Radeon RX 5700XT, and in the PS4-Pro an underclocked Radeon RX 480/580 could be used.

In addition, the XBox X brings 12 GB (G) DDR5, while the PS4-Pro only has 8 GB (G) DDR5+ 1 GB DDR3. (dynamically managed in both consoles for CPU + GPU)

On paper, the XBox X as the current performance version would be much more interesting than the PS4-Pro in terms of hardware and power consumption.

However, I can't tell you as much about the available software as in the technology comparison. @GuckWoAndersHin has already explicitly described this.

Technically, I'm assuming that both consoles may be more or less CPU-limited in spite of the comparatively very strong graphics performance. (AMD Jaguar is more or less a revised version of the K10 for more energy efficiency. - Technology from AMD Phenom II)

The XBox-X for current and upcoming titles would therefore only be really "round" in the technological sense of balance with a modified Octacore-Ryzen in relation to the graphics performance.

I see beautiful graphics on both of these consoles in native 1080p resolution, but because of the AMD Jaguar CPU rather not particularly high FPS for current and upcoming premium games of a modern kind.

Got a One X for not even 230 brand new. And that was not during Black Friday, but a few weeks ago 😏

I only like the games more

1.8 teraflops * you mean mine

Wow cool

Ch

Yes xbox really offers more than Playstation but sometimes the Playstation 4pro is also available at saturn for 249 euro and once at media markt it was even for 233 euro

Then the decision for the PS4 has been made!
