Internet on xbox no longer works?

Hey since yesterday the internet is somehow not working properly on my xbox, whenever I disconnect it and re-enter the password it says 'IP address could not be retrieved'. Yesterday I restarted the xbox and then it worked again, but earlier when I turned it on the same problem was again, and restarting this time didn't work.

What else can I do?

The first step is always to speak to the administrator of the router that is connected to the Internet.
