I'm considering switching from the Playstation 4 to the Xbox Series X with the Next Gen (mainly because of the GamePass).
It is advertised with backwards compatibility, since I don't have any old games, can I buy them in the store and play them on the Xbox series X? For example, there's Dante's Inferno, which I would like to play again.
Will Microsoft have more exclusive games with this gene? (Bought Bethesda)
Maybe someone agrees to enlighten me a little.
If the game is available in the store of the corresponding console, it will also run on it. Dante's Inferno is sure to run on it since it was available for free at Games for Gold a while ago.
As for the exclusives, it remains to be seen. However, there's not that little on the One, only the names of the titles are not that big. In addition to the big house brands such as Halo, Gears and Forza, there were Ryse, Quantum Break, Ori, Sea of Thieves, Crackdown, Overload and many other not so well-known but still good games.
The purchase of Bethesda is at least a signal that Microsoft is ready to spend a lot of money on Triple A titles. Especially since all Bethesda games automatically become part of the game pass. I dare to doubt whether they will remain exclusive. Then more of a temporal exclusivity.
The announcement of a new fable also gives reason for hope. Although that is still a long way off.
