Why do people always have to argue about everything?

I wanted to ask why people (e.g. On social networks) always argue and discuss everything. For example, things like xbox or ps4, Samsung or iPhone or other things like your favorite computer game… Doesn't it totally matter what you have and like as long as you are happy with it? So why this whole discussion.

That is a very good question, but unfortunately you come across such discussions on the Internet too often, I suspect it is simply a lack of attention or boredom…

Because they simply can't leave the other person's opinion or want to.

I always compare that with animals and the ranking. The highest ranking always wants to stay on top and defends his opinion so much that he criticizes the opinion of the others and puts it down… (maybe even without realizing it) I think that's such a power thing…

But frankly, I don't know what's wrong with humanity either.

Want to transfer your own opinion to others. They convince you to be of the same opinion as yourself.

But that's a positive part of the human mind that distinguishes us from animals.

There's nothing reprehensible or even bad about it, on the contrary.

There are surely petty, useless discussions and senseless or even dangerous arguments.

But such a culture of dissection enables us to exchange ideas and find an opinion. In this way, a general consensus and approach can be found as a guiding principle.

Yes discussions can be good but not if the arguments are like "a is better!" "no b is better!" so that's just ridiculous and that's how you see it too often. If one were to argue more with facts, such discussions would also be more logical

In your text on the question, you put it all together, the aspect of weighing arguments against each other would be something negative and that's not it.

But of course you're right. If it says so without evidence and facts, there's no basis for a meaningful discussion from the start.

Well my question comes across negatively or sounds like discussions are negative but as you can currently find them on social networks, unfortunately they are hardly anyone with facts. But clearly otherwise discussions are definitely good things that help to form an opinion or e.g. A product to improve, etc.
