Why should it be anything other than the PC?
I would definitely choose PC. The price is a deterrent if you want to buy a gaming PC, for example. However, you can do more than just 'gamble' with a PC. What to do for school, university. And much more. Games are also a lot cheaper on the PC.

Playing on the PC is not that great in my opinion.

To play the latest games, you have to buy a new graphics card every other year.
