External hard drive formatted what now?

Have an external usb 3.0 hard drive with 1tb memory on my Xbox One used. Since this was no longer recognized by the console, I connected it to my PC, which also formatted it immediately so that I can access it at all. Now the console recognizes the disk again, Juhuu, but the disk is completely empty and displays only 146gb of available memory on the console as well as on the PC.

What can I do best now? Do not identify me with the matter too well, so at best please explain Scrhitt by step.

I thank you in advance!

Connect to the PC

Go to Disk Management

Select hard drive and see if there are more partitions. If yes, delete all and reformat.

There you have to delete the hard disk partitions. That in this way the hard disk has no associated memory. Then you can create a new partition and specify the total memory size. How to get there… Wait a minute
