I have a gaming PC with an RTX 2070 Super and an Xbox Series X. I mainly gamble on the PC like cod or multiplayer games. I play single player on the Xbox and on the PC. For years I always had the problem of choosing a monitor on my PC. The consoles are now running on 4K but PC gaming still seems very strongly the future of tech. It has always been said that the games look better on the PC but the majority play in WQHD and not in 4K as on the consoles. It is important to me that the game looks good and that I have good FPS. I dismantled my 4K monitor for gaming because of the FPS. At the moment I have Full HD with 60hz again. My question is, do the games really still look the same or better on the PC despite WQHD and is 4K still a long way off?
I've been interested in the topic for years and I've always asked myself that.
OK? 4K looks a lot better. We see in 4k after all.
4K is unnecessary, 144hz is the most important thing in gaming
4K, if you want graphical progress.
Preferably on a good TV, full array local dimming or OLED.
144 frames, if you want to play super fluently and very quickly. It is more noticeable on the PC than on the console due to the jerky mouse movements. On the console currently "only" up to 120 frames
It depends on what you play.
Okay, is the statement that WQHD games on Ultra should look better on the PC than on the Xbox Series X or PS5, which should output 4K games? I'm sorry for the stupid question.
I can't say for sure, if you spend enough money you can get more powerful hardware on a PC than Xbox Series X and PS5. From this I conclude that you can get more graphics on the PC. However, I currently estimate the number of gamers who own such hardware to be less than 5 percent
95% 144hz
You mean FPS and the like, but these are rather the few where you really need more than 60HZ or 120HZ.
