My problem is as follows, my external hard drive has not been working properly for a few days, I recognized it when I start games from there it loads for a long time or does not load at all (so it just hangs), some games are therefore unplayable.
If I install these games on the internal memory, which do not run properly there, everything runs like clockwork.
What I tried: cleared the hard drive, tested it for errors and reformatted it, unfortunately without success. I tried the same thing again with a few things on the hard drive, and again nothing, changed the slot and checked the cable for possible breaks: Die

Hmm, after you've done practically everything possible, the only thing left is that the hard drive is broken.
I had the same problem, but reformatting via the console fixed the error.
Formatting is also possible via the console? 😅
Have only done it on the laptop so far but I don't think it makes a difference, does it?
I have no idea but it's worth a try.
