Xbox or PS4? - 4

I currently have an xbox one s but i want to buy a ps4 because i don't feel like paying for xbox live gold anymore is that a good decision?

On the Playstation you need a copy of Xbox Live Gold or as Sony calls it: "Playstation Plus" for information for the majority of the games.

Well, I've had a PS4 since 2016 and I'm getting on really well, but if you want to play a game with friends like Starwars Battlefront and Minecraft you need PS +. However, this is not the case with every game, e.g. Fortnite.

It's a waste of money just so I can play 1-2 rounds online. With playstation, I only need it for a few games

Little? That's not true.

Only with selected games you do not need a Playstation Plus and these games are not demanding. See for example Fortnite, Warzone & what all the games are called there

I would rather stay with Xbox if you don't have such good internet reception. If you have Nat Type 3 / Strict, no Ipv6 and no upnp, the PS4 is a bad choice. In my case, where all of these apply, my PS4 Slim has constant problems getting online. I was even thrown from the PlayStation store permanently. I only opened the store and nothing else. Downloads are a torture and if I'm completely logged out of the PS4, so that I have to re-enter email and PW that the PS4 is too stupid to connect properly to the PSN. With the Xbox One X and Series S, however, I don't have any such problems.

If gold is too expensive for you, but you like Game Pass, I recommend the following: Buy gold for one year and redeem it. Then buy a month of Game pass Ultimate and then redeem it. Your 12 months of gold will be converted to ultimate, which means that you get 12 months of game pass for free. And if you bought a Gold Card with 12 months for, for example, 40 euro on Amazon, (plus the 13 euro for the one month Game pass Ultimate) you also saved just over 60 euro. On the Microsoft website, in the subscription settings where you can buy or extend Ultimate, one year of Ultimate subscription costs € 129. That's actually pretty profitable whom. You use my method. But the decision is ultimately yours.

I wouldn't recommend the PS4 in my opinion. My eg is still extremely loud even after long cleaning, the drive is no better and the controller breaks down very quickly. (That's why I also use an Xbox One controller on the PS4 with an adapter)

I can tell you: the 100 euro I spent on the PS4 Slim was the stupidest decision I have ever made.

Nevertheless, I hope that you will get along well with a device of your choice, no matter which one you choose. No matter if Xbox, PlayStation, Nintendo, PC or even mobile.

Either keep it or buy a Ps5. But jumping from one load console to the other would be hard to beat when it comes to stupidity
