And I can't play some games online with my friends. Wanted to play Gang Beast and Worms Battlegrounds online with friends but didn't get to the lobby. Tried everything, Xbox off again, connected to LAN cables, game uninstalled and reinstalled, invited yourself, just everything. Everyone comes to the lobby except me.
We can play other games together, e.g. Halo, Overwatch or Rocket League.
So what's the problem?
Could it be due to your rooter's NAT settings?
However, I'm currently considering whether all the games shouldn't be biting around…
Yes, then the others shouldn't work either…
But my NAT type is not open as far as I know, although I set exposed host in the router for the Xbox, funny.
Do you have a friend / colleague who knows something like that?
He may be able to help you on site.
No, unfortunately not really. I'll try it out myself today.
Do your friends also play with an XBox or do they use other systems? If that is the case, there's a possibility that the games you mentioned do not allow cross-platform multiplayer.
No, everyone is playing on Xbox One.
Ok then it could also be due to your internet access. Some providers (e.g. EWR) work with a technology that does not use a public dynamic IPV4 address. However, some games require this address.
You can check here whether your Internet access is one of these connections:
