Does the xbox one s games run at 120 fps?
As far as I know, there's exactly 1 single game on the One S that can do that
But don't ask me which one it is
Victories in single player should probably at least hit more than 60Hz.
No.
Hz is the rate that the monitor can output. You mean fps
I know what Hz is.
Apparently not
But.
A game runs in 120fps.
That would be Rainbow Six Siege, for example.
The 120-FPS mode has been available on the One consoles for 3 years, so that games with this support will follow is actually not that unlikely.
No
But.
The Xbox One consoles already have a 120 FPS mode. Games too, even if there are only a few.
In one entry, however, Microsoft is stingy with details and only writes that the high refresh rate option means that 120 Hz displays can now be used to the full. It is unclear which content is actually output at 120 Hz - it is possible that the Xbox only displays the main menu with the higher refresh rate.
Such games would not simply be able to take advantage of a higher refresh rate - especially due to the fact that the graphics hardware built into consoles is not powerful enough to display current games at 120 fps. The highest is conceivable for comparatively undemanding indie games, but the developers would also have to update them to the higher refresh rate. A response from Microsoft to our inquiries is still pending.
Micro soft at it again. Finally the menu or any jump and runs with 120fps.
Rainbow Six Siege I only say 😂🤦🏼♂️
You should be happy that you even have this mode. Because Playstation 4, 4 Pro and 4 Slim don't have this mode at all, okay, they're a lot worse than the Xbox One consoles
Still you don't have 120fps. It is there, but the game does not display
Source?
Own experience
On the one s I turned on the 120hz mode and it still felt like 60fps. On the other hand, the game feels very different with more fps on the PC
Have you turned on Freesync too?
No
In addition, I tested both on the same monitor
No idea. I switched to the PC before the next gen.
Nevertheless, I had the same conditions for both platforms in my test.
Well, the graphics on the PC were a bit fancier and could play with 144fps.
The difference to 120hz is not as great as the difference between 60 and 120
You can refrain from such comments that lead to unnecessary bashing of the competition.
That is not the issue here.
Both are garbage. I've had it on the PC for more than 20 years.
Great and now? Cosnoles can't be compared with Pcs
