I use an XBox controller on the PC with a USB cable.
How can I turn it off without unplugging the cable?
Holding the XBox key down does not work.
Why do you want to turn it off? If you just put it aside, it doesn't really matter.
My computer runs 24/7, thought it would be better if it is deactivated when I'm not using it. It could be that this increases the service life.
Well then you can just disconnect it and leave the cable in the computer.
If you just press the button (i.e. Don't hold it down), a menu opens, right? Surely there should be a corresponding point.
I use the Elite and only wirelessly, so that can of course differ. 😅
Removing it would of course be a less convenient, but quite simple solution.
I will probably do so if there's no solution.
