So somehow the Fortnite hype passed me by then, except for a few games back then on xbox one I never did anymore. But a few days ago I got a ps4 and would like to "catch up" with fortnite. I do not plan on playing with the best players for $ 100,000 in prize money, but I'd like to get through the average. My 1st question Is it still worthwhile to start with Fortnite, or can you already say that the game loses more and more hype in the foreseeable future?
and the 2nd question, does anyone know a good page / video where you can read well into the game? I mean the basic understanding is clear to me, but that whole with building or something like Season 7 seems to me Spanish.
I would recommend something else.
Apex Legends is new on the market since February 5 and is currently free. Similar to Fortnite with a Battle Royal mode. If you want a complete package I would recommend Black Ops 4 to you. Treyarch has thought many very good thoughts. There's the classic multiplayer mode and zombie mode. New is the blackout mode. Also a Battle Royal mode. Currently also very much played.
I can tell you the following things. I think as a "newbie" you'll be slow to get into the game. Maybe the others are too good for that. However, if you have a certain aim, you learn quickly again.
Of course, you can also build on your creative island - so you can practice well and undisturbed.
The hype of Fortnite is in my opinion still there and will not pass in the near future. Big competitors like PUBG were actually kicked out of the race - Call of Duty was fought off.
Through the background story and clever marketing, the interest remains.
Apex Legends is still new - Ninja currently supports this game very much. I can't say exactly how this game will spread in the future. But still see Fortnite clearly ahead and that also the next months.
Great answer, thank you
If you have any further questions, feel free to come to me.
Yes, the Fortnite hype still exists, not as blatant as it used to, but it still exists.
Since there are very many good players at the moment, getting started is hard unless you practice something or have already trained Aim in other games. Nevertheless, if you like the game itself or want to give it a try, it's not a bad idea to start.
There are also many Battle Royal shooters that are new, such as Apex, Blackout (Black Ops 4), PUBG, etc.
Conclusion: Try it out, you should have no buck at the beginning to have no chance, try Apex, etc. This is not easy in the beginning, but there are many newcomers. But when you're training or just playing, you can get better everywhere.
Bye ^^
